So lindsay came up this last weekend and it was pretty fun cause we took pictures. and we have cool hats :)

I thought this was pretty funny it still makes me laugh. Im so weird sometimes
It was a cloudy day but the sun came out and we had fun with our silhouettes.Its very had to get catch people in the air very hard i say! it is a good work out though.

Holiday Fever!

For Thanksgiving this year i made the pumpkin pie. I have never made it before and it was really runny and i freaked out. I found out that it is suppose to be runny. It turned out really good. i love the crust so much so i eat the filling first and save the best for last! Turkey watched me eat.


My mom got a boysenberry pie which looked a button to me so i thought that was super cool!
We went to Dayton, WA a small town. The town was having Christmas kick off so they had santa and frosty the man doing their thing in the street. Lots of stores were open with treats.
I went shopping and my mom and I ended up shopping at good will which was fun. I found a j.crew sweater i was very happy about that. YAY i found a banana republic jacket but it was too small i was very sad!I found this thing sweater not sure what it is but all the girls are wearing them it seems im going to add my personal touch to it so i dont look like a robot.
Friday was a good day :)

bend :)

So this past weekend i went down to Bend, OR. Lindsay my friend lives down there. So Ashley, lindsay's friend, which is my friend now :) drove down there and i caught a ride. I slept most of the way, which i probably shouldn't have but i couldn't stop my eye lids.


In between Biggs and Bend there is this Tree of shoes I always love going by it :) so we decided to stop by it and be silly.
So on Friday morning we went shoping or window shopping. Banana Republic aahhhh i tried on this dress and i just fell in love with it! It is so simple. i really want to have the pattern for it so i can make it myself! i didn't check the tag cause i knew it would only make me cry. I did check the price online when i got home and it was only $152.
Most of the weekend we just played guitar hero which was really fun! at the end lindsay gave with these 3D glasses that could be used as sunglasses and i think i will hahahaha:)

rings

So today in sculpting i got my clay ring done  and i made a ring out of led. pictures will come soon! the ring is really heavy but its kind of cool just i bent it to my finger :)

OPEN HOUSE

So it was open house at the dorms this sunday and that meant that all the boys could come and check out our rooms. I made cupcakes with my sister in law :) thanks traci! we had it be a golf course and we had water and sand dooms :)

So like an hour after the guys left we still kept playing. i certain that if we had a tv in our room we would never get anything done! well our room was a smashing hit! we got the hearts of the natives for sure.

Caprisun

So for about a year i have had these caprisun packages. I saw this girl carrying this bag made of caprisuns and it got me inspired to make my own. I made this because i don't have a place in the door to put my books that i might read before going to bed. This bag will just hang on the post bed. I also made a little pocket on the outside so it will hold bookmarks, pens, or hi-lighters.


For the straps i used a zipper it was cool but i did cut myself trying to two straps apart. its out it was worth it. :)

life update!

i got a new phone and i very much miss my blackberry. I didn get a solar power charger in this picture i am charging my phone by the sun it makes me so happy!
In sculpting class we had to make ugly faces that showed shadows and just very funny looking faces. It was very fun to see all the other students faces.
This here is my mug that i made the second first week it had a cat and a squirrel and a cat with their tails uniting them :)
The colors didnt really turn out the way that i wanted them to but its ok i am still learning about mixing the glaze.
These body forms and the green one is more of a perfect one and the other brown one is pinched. It is empty in side and its a little bit hard for it to stand.
the dark green thigns on the bottom are made from wax we made the molde out of clay and poured the wax it was cool.
My favorite thing to do in the class is to make buttons I love it so much. When they are done glazing it come out so smooth and shinny. Im going to see how many i can make till my teacher tells me to stop
This turtle is on its back and i thought i would put anything on this belly his cute :)

jack o' lanterns

my mother and brother carved pumpkins all all different time which was kinda funny. i did a cat as always, mother free handed her which was funny. and my brother made the half dome which is pretty cool. yay! halloween!

day before halloween

Tomorrow is Halloween and i have been busy trying to fit as many halloweeny things into my weekend. I hung out with my friend this week and i just wanted to wear my hoodie...why not?


So i have been wanting to melt a record but just haven't gotten the time to melt :) VeeBee:]taught me the ways of melting on her blog http://allaboutveee.blogspot.com/2009/10/it-feels-like-i-havent-posted-in-while.html i had my bowl in there for about 20 mins. so easy
I carved pumpkins to day it was really fun because i had small ones. I used them as candle holders which look really pretty lighten up. The pumpkins cost 25cents which is really cheap and the candles i had already but i am sure that they aren't expensive. this is a really nice way to bring in the thanksgiving spirit in.there are more Halloween post coming :)
