day before halloween

Tomorrow is Halloween and i have been busy trying to fit as many halloweeny things into my weekend. I hung out with my friend this week and i just wanted to wear my hoodie...why not?


So i have been wanting to melt a record but just haven't gotten the time to melt :) VeeBee:]taught me the ways of melting on her blog http://allaboutveee.blogspot.com/2009/10/it-feels-like-i-havent-posted-in-while.html i had my bowl in there for about 20 mins. so easy
I carved pumpkins to day it was really fun because i had small ones. I used them as candle holders which look really pretty lighten up. The pumpkins cost 25cents which is really cheap and the candles i had already but i am sure that they aren't expensive. this is a really nice way to bring in the thanksgiving spirit in.there are more Halloween post coming :)

long time

So i haven't had the time to upload my pictures onto a computer lately. So about 2 weeks ago my art partner in crime decided to get chalk and go around campus and draw whatever our hearts desired. The first place we drew a ocean of crazy fish that became to eat each other hahaha. we then drew flowers that came out of nowhere (that is the best type of flowers). Well close to the art department we drew a big dinosaur that was rawing Art Saves Me!


Lindsay came up for the weekend and we drove around and took pictures but for some reason we never take pictures together. Well this pictures are just nonsense. I did make my hat which i am very proud of and the tutu *spell check*

goals for the weekend

So this weekend i really want to make sure i do something creative. these are my goals for the weekend :)
*make another hoodie with a different type of fur :) a bear maybe
**make some zipper pins for my brothers girlfriend yay a little bit of money
***make a button sewn jewelry
****take fun pictures with lindsay sense she is in town
*****make a pumpkin into a vase
******make a bowl out of an old record

i hope i get to do all those things if not at least 2 of them. i get so cooked in my dorm room that i cant create anything. i have to post pictures of the things i am making in my sculpting class soon.

Fall Falls

Today after lunch my mother, brother, and I went on a little adventure into cemeteries and to parks to pick up chestnuts. It was really interesting to see the different graves and headstones. i really liked the ones that Ives and mos that has started on the stone. it made me think that even though we have stones to remember use nature still tries to take over. Like we came from the grown and we shall return to it. our last cemetery stop was a old small town one. The first time that i went to it was night and i was sort of really scared. Well today today was AWESOME!! i was walking behind my mom and i looked down and found a dollar! WOOHOO! But of course my mother was mad she was like no that's mine! i dont think im going to spend it i wanna keep it forever. oh funny when i got in the car my mom told my that the money is bad luck...ohh she is so cute. She is just sad she didn't see the money.
On the ride my mother has wanted wheat for the longest time, just so that she can look at it :) we stopped by and cut some on the side of the road. It was really cool to pick up chestnuts they are so soft. It was cook to see a squirrel in action. Today was super fun!

Darn homework! well at least i got some sewing done to keep me from going nuts in the week.

Where The Wild Things Are!

So today i was able to finish my hood and my tail for my costume. The tail i didn't stuff because it wouldn't be able to move when i walked. on the top i put a loop so that i can lop it through my belt. The hood is what i am most impressed about because i think it turned out pretty sweet!! i know i will probably where it to classes when super cold weather comes around. i think i will make more hoods in the different fabric. I have yet to make the mittens and the grown but the main things are done now so i am happy! The hood is so soft and warm that im just wearing it right now as i type. WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE A WILD THING?!!!

p.s. wow my room is messy. the room is full of fussy and black hair that fell off the black fabric

so the last couple night i have not been getting much sleep. some people can sleep very little and still act normal but i sure can not i need sleep even know i dont like napping. today i am sort of sad that i have not blogged in a while. I very much miss my sewing machine i wish i could just bring it with me everywhere.  Even though i have 2 art classes i miss doing crafty things that i usually like. i am like on my room/craft heaven rehab (blahh) well  i know i may be busy... sort of but i do need to go buy my suppies to make my max outfit for the movie "Where The Wild Things  Are"!!!! ohh that just brings my heart Joy! well i pretty much love looking at blogs and what people have made it really makes me happy!. well im off to go work out cause i had cheese today which was great but i dont need it in my hips! lol :)

First weekend wwu

Last night i went to vespers and the speaker talked about how we are Gods master piece oh how i loved it. After vespers my roommate got a hold of me and ask me if i wanted to man Hunt!!! I had played last year and had so much fun. (i got really excited) Well man hunt is a game of people on foot and others in cars. the people in foot are trying to get from point A to point B with out getting seen by the people in the cars. my roommate and a neighbor from down stairs dressed in all black it was so funny. there where 3 point to get to by 11:15 pm. We got to our last point and had just enough time to get back to the house where we started at. We darted into the street booked behind a bank....the only thing is that a cop pulled in to the bank. The cop told us that he got a call about 3 people looking into cars and in peoples yards. Well we told him that we were with the college and playing a game.

3 dinners

So tonight i had dinner around 5 and then dinner at 6 and then dinner 645 ohh golly i need to stop. i just never want to see food again i will never make 3 different plans for one night lol Yesterday while i was at walmart i bought some socks that are for flats and i wore them today. i wore them with my vans because the socks always show.
well this first week of school has been really easy because i have no homework at all. so i am hoping that it will get a little bit harder but too hard. in sculpting class i am making a mug which i will use for my buttons or pens. well i will post pictures on that later on when i am done.
i am gonna head out to watch Kung Fu Panda with my budd SAl!! :)

Last night my roomie and i went to wal-mart for various things and saw these  socks that should not be socks. I am not sure when this was invented or how this trend began. Did someone just think "THE WORLD NEEDS FOOT THONGS!" like why would you do that. Well i thought these were pretty funny. We did buy those small socks that won't show for like flats i am so gonna wear some with my vans today :)
